Digital databases on various aspects of Indian film history are being put together by the Project Fellows with the help of the teachers of the Department. The free and open source Omeka platform (developed by the Centre for History and New Media, George Mason University, USA) is being used. The browsing options allow for multiple associations and more than a single line of argument to emerge as the user passes through images, texts and videos.
The databases are yet to be put online. They can be accessed offline at the Lab through prior request.
