The Lab has developed itself as a hub for critics, cinephiles, technicians and artists. It organizes screenings and discussions, small innovative exhibitions of documents and artworks, invite scholars and artists of widely divergent skills to come together and give lectures and demonstrations. It wishes to become an important destination for the young enthusiasts in new media as well as the established scholars, so that the widely spreading interest in media forms can receive critical grounding, and in turn carry its energies into scholarship.
